Large Turnout Expected for Opening Weekend for ’20 MINUTES’ Movie

HONOLULU, HI / ACCESSWIRE / March 13, 2023 / A large turnout is expected for the opening weekend on March 24 of the critically-acclaimed movie ’20 Minutes’ which is one of the most talked-about movies in Hawaii right now.

Already, the 7 pm time-slot at Consolidated Ward 16 is sold-out.

’20 Minutes’ is about a real incoming ballistic missile to Hawaii that changes the lives of twelve people when they discover they have twenty minutes to live.

This time the missile is real.

A random sample of people interviewed expressed why they are going. “I’m going because I got the warning on my cell phone,” says one resident in Honolulu, “and I was part of history. I love the plot twist of the missile actually coming.”

“I heard this was a tear-jerker,” says another resident. “My whole family is going.”

Another resident exclaimed, “A friend saw this at the premiere and left feeling like a totally changed person. If you have twenty minutes to live, what is most important? I like how they reference God in this film, too. What Hollywood movie does that anymore?”

“I saw this film at the Los Angeles premiere at Fox Studios,” chimed in a viewer, “and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. I loved how they put a Democrat and Republican in the Hawaii bunker and both became friends in the end, although tragically.”

’20 Minutes’ will open in all the Consolidated and Regal Hawaii theaters starting with preview screenings on Thursday, March 23, 2023 and wide on March 24, 2023 (5 showings a day).
