Orlando Credit Union’s Victor Gonzalez Leads Technology Across the Organization

When organizations enable a CIO to action change, they’re usually focusing on technology and the many capabilities required to run an operation. At Orlando Credit Union, Victor Gonzalez leads technology as both CTO (Chief Technology Officer) and CIO (Chief Information Officer) to effect member service and growth with technology-enabled solutions, adding operational value that improves the member experience. Victor serves as Vice President of Technology for the organization.

“In his role he has to be both technology deployment leader and technology executive visionary, enabling an ease of access to systems that are service defining in this competitive banking landscape of Central Florida,” stated David Duncan, Head of Marketing, Communications, and Public Relations for Orlando Credit Union. “Victor approaches offering technology-enabled services and products from a members-first perspective, thinking of technology that results in greater access to managing money and building wealth,” added Duncan.

Victor earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in the Dominican Republic and has completed course work with City College of New York, NY in Computer Science and has achieved a diploma of completion from the Florida School of Banking. Along with his education depth, Victor has worked as Vice President of Information Technology for Axiom Bank and as an Information Technology Manager for the Institute of Internal Auditors.
