The National Registry of Environmental Professionals (NREP) is pleased to announce its partnership with the Ohio Stormwater Association (OSWA) to offer discounted certification options for OSWA members. OSWA will in turn display NREP information on its website and marketing materials.

Through this partnership, OSWA members will have access to certain NREP certifications at a reduced rate. These certifications include:

Certified Environmental Scientist (CES)

Certified Environmental Stormwater Compliance Professional (CESCP)

Registered Environmental Professional (REP)

Associate Environmental Professional (AEP)

These certifications offered may appeal to members of the Ohio Stormwater Association (OSWA) for a variety of reasons, including:

  • CES: The Certified Environmental Scientist (CES) designation may appeal to OSWA members who have a background in environmental science and want to demonstrate their knowledge and expertise in this area. This certification covers a broad range of environmental topics, including air quality, water quality, and hazardous waste management.
  • CESCP: The Certified Environmental Stormwater Compliance Professional (CESCP) certification may be of interest to OSWA members who work in stormwater management. This certification focuses specifically on compliance with stormwater regulations, including the Clean Water Act and National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) requirements.
  • REP: The Registered Environmental Professional (REP) certification may appeal to OSWA members who have significant experience in the environmental field and want to demonstrate their advanced knowledge and skills. This certification requires at least 10 years of experience and covers a wide range of environmental topics.
  • AEP: The Associate Environmental Professional (AEP) certification may be ideal for OSWA members who are just starting their careers in the environmental field or have less than five years of experience. This certification demonstrates a basic understanding of environmental science principles and is a great way for individuals to kickstart their careers in this field.

Once OSWA receives notice that an eligible member is enrolling in one of the above certification programs, they will provide the member with a coupon code to receive a $50 discount on the program.

NREP and OSWA share a commitment to promoting environmental excellence through education, certification, and professional development. This partnership underscores their shared dedication to supporting the careers of environmental professionals and advancing the field of environmental science.
