Dylan Sidoo Scholarship for Tech Entrepreneurs Announces Inaugural Winner

VANCOUVER, BC / ACCESSWIRE / February 16, 2023 / The Dylan Sidoo Scholarship for Tech Entrepreneurs has come to a close, and we are pleased to announce that Mr. Sidoo has received a significant number of applications. The scholarship application, which ended on January 15th, 2023, garnered a substantial number of applications, and Mr. Sidoo has taken the time to carefully evaluate each of the essay entries. After thorough consideration, Mr. Sidoo has selected a deserving student who has provided the most comprehensive response to the given question, “Describe an issue or problem that exists in the world, and how you could use new technology to improve upon it.” The chosen student will be awarded the scholarship prize of $1,000 to further their entrepreneurial dreams.

Dylan Sidoo is a businessman in the technology and venture capital industry. He has completed his formal education at St. George’s School and continued his studies at the University of Southern California, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree, graduating Cum Laude. During his time at USC, he was also a member of the Men’s Rugby team. Dylan continued his education through Harvard Business School’s Credential of Readiness (CORe) program and holds a Masters of Science in Global Finance & Banking from King’s College London. He is also a co-founder of Disappears.com Inc., an encrypted communication platform. Dylan Sidoo is the Director of the Sidoo Family Giving foundation, which established the Dylan Sidoo Scholarship in 2022 to support individuals interested in starting businesses in the technology sector.

Mr. Sidoo hopes that the scholarship will significantly help the chosen student in achieving their entrepreneurial goals and becoming successful in the technology field. He is aware that the ever-increasing expenses associated with education, especially in tech schools, can create an undue financial burden on students.
